CVSYNTH is a monophonic synthesizer made for the ColecoVision video game system

 CVSYNTH is based on other popular software and hardware snythesizers, and it enables the user to create thousands of different sounds.

CVSYNTH is software that takes advantage of the sound chips found in the ColecoVision, therefore no other hardware is needed.
CVSYNTH is made for live performance and would be great in concert with Paul Slocum's Atari 2600 SynthCart,or the other E-mancanics publication CVDRUM.

3 sweeping effects
  • sweep harmonic/overtone down
  • sweep harmonic/overtone up
  • sweep noise frequency down

Auto arpeggiation with the following built-in chords:
  • major triad
  • minor triad
  • dominant seventh
  • minor seventh
  • major seventh
  • augmented triad
  • dimenished triad

Add noise and/or an overtone to each different sound making thousands of choices to the tambre of the sound.

   CVSYNTH is now in beta testing. It should be available soon through Atari Age.

     No effects were used. These are straight from the M.E.S.S. emulator. Recording software was used to combine tracks on compositions.
